Children Art Contest
Children Art Contest is the India’s leading independent art competition an initiative of SHANKER ART FOUNDATION, open to children of Preparatory to 12th class in the India.
This is a one of its kind opportunity to discover the latent talent of budding and upcoming generation through their sincere Thoughts, Skills & Creativity Since our First Competition and Exhibition in 2012, we’ve grown to offer multiple prizes that recognize talent.
Children Art Contest now attracts more than 2500 entries per year and we offer both shortlisted and winning children exposure and promotion through our exhibitions and website.

This is to depict our love and concern for National Symbols through Paintings, Drawings, Collages & Mix Media. Our Mission
Annual All India Children Art Contest is to encourage children and provide opportunities to showcase their creative thoughts through EXHIBITION at prestigious venue and website. Our purpose is both to discover and support children art nationally
Our inspiration
Roop Chand was born in Dundahera District Gurrgaon in 1936. He did his Intermediate drawing examination from Government of Bombay in 1954. He did a brief study in Painting in J.J. School of Art Bombay. Then he did B.A (Fine Art), MA in Ancient History, Culture and Archaeology, MA History of Art all from Punjab University.
Our panel of judges changes annually and features some of the most experienced and prominent figures in the art world.
Promoters of Shanker Art Foundation
S L Chawla is founder Director of Shanker Art Foundation, basically Art Lover, Art Collector and devoted to the cause of Art. A Graduate of 1970 from Panjab University, he is a professional in Management Studies and worked for Atlas, Escorts, Hero Group, Aditya Birla Group and Amber Group besides his love for Art to encourage children for Art. Conducted various events and now rest of his life will promote Art with his son and other family members and spread Indian Culture and Art to reach its aim.
Kishore Shanker is professionally qualified as did his BFA from Government College of Arts, Chandigarh.
Kishore is audaciously working towards the growth of art. He initiated the Photography Contest and Exhibition ‘Bharat Ke Rang’ and Children Art Contest in 2012. Since then it is being organized every year and is theme specific. Kishore also patiently mustered the names and profiles of nearly above 200 artists from Haryana and is working on finalizing the directory.
