Prospectus 2018 Colours of National Symbols

ARTinfoINDIA.COM’s painting competition for children and exhibition titled TITLEE-The Butterfly 2012, TITLEE-The Butterfly 2013, PEACOCK-The National Bird 2014, Lotus-The National Flower 2015, Tiger – The National Animal 2016 and Colours of National Symbols 2017 was successfully organized. We have received an overwhelming response from Schools and Parents. In this competition 6 groups (Nursery to Class 10) received Gold Award, Silver Award,  Bronze Award Commended Award and Appreciation Award were given to 300 participants, Merit Certificate to 250+ participants and Certificate of Participation to all the participants were issued.

Exhibitions of award winning paintings were held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

In continuation to this ARTinfoINDOA.COM and SHANKER ART FOUNDATION are glad to announce Colours of National Symbols as theme for 7th All India Children Art Contest.

This is to depict our love and concern for National Symbols through Paintings, Drawings, Collages & Mix Media. This is a one of its kind opportunity to discover the latent talent of budding and upcoming generation through their sincere and creative thoughts about nation.

Our sole aim is to sensitize/motivate/educate young and budding children through art towards the importance of our National Symbols.

Salient Features

a) Gold, Silver, Bronze, Commended and Appreciation Awards for 300 paintings selected for exhibition

b) 1 Gold Award, 1 Silver Award, 1 Bronze Award and 5 Commended Awards on every 100 Paintings in each category.

c) Certificate of Merit for 200 paintings.

d) Certificate of Participation for all the Participants

e) Exhibition at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi

f) Awarded and Meritorious Paintings on website for ever.

15-16 September 2018 Judging session by panel of expert judges.

Request for Art Instructors / Teacher / Parents

  • Before the students pick the pencil/brush, please educate/create awareness among them about the importance of National Symbols of India
  • It is necessary to include at least one national symbol in the artworks made or combination of two three even more, but not necessary to include all symbols in one artwork, apart from that, the children have the liberty to paint any things using National Symbols.
  • do not write any title or slogan on painting. you can write on the back side of painting. Please remember you are doing painting not poster
  • Please stick to the sizes mentioned to execute the artwork.

Theme : Colours of National Symbols

Create your Drawings Paintings Collages Mixed Media artworks using National Symbols of India.

It is necessary to include at least one national symbol in the artworks made or combination of two three even more, but not necessary to include all symbols in one artwork, apart from that, the children have the liberty to paint any things using National Symbols.

Requirements of the competitive part

The size of the artwork could be

15 x 11 Inches or A3
12 x 9 Inches or A4

or paper of any Standard Sketch Book.

Medium: Any medium of your choice to create Drawing, Painting, Collage or Mixed Media on paper. (Do not Paste 3D material on artwork) ​

Entries must be on good quality paper.

Categories (Groups)

The competition is open for children of preparatory classes to grade / class XII.

Group A – Preparatory Classes (Nur., LKG, UKG)
Group B – Grade / Class I & II
Group C – Grade / Class III & IV
Group D – Grade / Class V & VI
Group E – Grade / Class VII & VIII
Group F – Grade / Class IX & X
Group G – Grade / Class XI & XII

Awards and certificates will be sent only through the courier. You are requested to give your address where the courier can easily reach.
If your school is outside the city then you can also give an address of the Art Teacher or the coordinator 

Individuals Kindly follow these steps :

1. Labeling the Entries (Individual Participant)

Every entry must have the following information at the back of the artwork:

  • Name of Participant
  • Class & Group
  • Name of the School and City
  • Name of Father or Mother
  • Address with PIN CODE (Address where the courier services have access)
  • Mobile No and E-Mail ID
  • Entry Fee Ticket. No.

  • Rubber Stamp of the Institute

2. Download Group Registration Form

3. Group Participation Fee Rs. 200/- per entry (11 to 300 participants)

  • A consolidate E-Transfer (Please contact for Bank), Cheque, Bank Draft may be issued for all the participants from same institution.
  • Cheque/Bank Draft in favor of :
    Shanker Art Foundation

Please do not send multiple cheque of Rs. 200/- (Entries with cheque of Rs 200/- shall be disqualified)
